I just wanted to say thank you! I just did the routine you created for me (first time since gyms were closed yesterday). The routine was simple but effective. It was aggravating at how much muscle strength I lost since I stopped working out last time but it has been an hour since I left the gym and everything is still sore! You probably get this a lot, but I was a little hesitant about signing up, you know, online gimmicks and all that (no offense intended please - keep reading). BUT, when I started communicating directly with you, and you crafted a workout that fit all my needs and gives me direction with the variety of exercises available at the gym I was truly impressed. I can motivate myself and push myself HARD because I want this. I needed someone to tell me what to do and how to do it. You provided me with that. It is much better (in my opinion) than the personal trainer experiences I have had at the gym before. Granted this is only my first week with the program but I am already impressed. I just wanted to acknowledge the personal support I have received so far and tell you I am looking forward to continuing this program and hitting my goals. -- Matthew K

Wow, the new workouts are perfect: I can do them at home if time allows before work and they are short enough I can do my cardio at the gym and still throw in some extra exercises! I like the exercise routine online. I like the switching days on weight focus (upper body focus on one day and lower body on another day). I belong to a gym that has all the standard equipment. I like to use the weight machines and it's nice to have a focus and plan with those. For cardio at the gym, I usually wind up doing the elliptical machine. I really don't like treadmills or the stationery bike that much. If you have other suggestions for cardio, let me know. Feeling a little more energized. Clothes are fitting a little better. -- Lesley K

This is just a quick note to thank you for the new exercise routine you sent me. I have just completed it, and although tomorrow I will look kind of funny walking through the airport (those squats are murder), I have no words to express the feeling of satisfaction and hope your site has given me. I understand that for someone who has never done any exercise getting in shape is difficult, but I used to be a rock climber, I worked out at the gym 2 hours a day, I loved exercise and the feeling you get once you conquer a challenge! A few years back as part of a medical treatment, I had to take hormones which solved the medical issue, but totally messed up my metabolism. I knew I had to get back to the gym to get in shape, that diet alone would not get me where I wanted to be, but every time I tried, I was so upset with my poor performance that I would quit. Your routine was the perfect pace I needed to get started, it was demanding without being frustrating. So I will now be adding regular exercise to my diet routine!
