Weight loss is often a lonely, personal struggle. At times, people who are closest to you don't understand this struggle, and Changing Shape offers people the support they need to make the necessary improvements to a better, healthier lifestyle. It's great having a personal trainer contact you regularly, asking questions, encouraging you, and simply being a cheerleader for your efforts. For me, I'm a busy mom, teacher, and wife. I often am going from sun-up to sun-down, and knowing that I can access healthy information about weight loss on my schedule is terrific. Changing Shape is just the resource I needed to jumpstart my weight loss, and I've seen many wonderful changes in the first couple of months. When I first decided to start exercising and losing weight I purchased some cardio equipment to do at home. I was doing very well losing weight and with talking with others I was told I needed to incorporate weight lifting into my exercise routine. I had no idea where to start with weight lifting. When searching online most of the sites were basic computer generated workout routines and I was looking for something more of an online personal trainer. The sites that offered this were extremely expensive.
I came across Matt at changing shape and am glad I did. He has been great to work with. When I originally signed up I explained what equipment I had in my home, how many days per week I would be exercising, what I've been doing for exercising in the past, and what my short and long term range goals were. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to start lifting weights. A resistance ball, exercise mat, dumbbell handles, and some weight plates will get you started.
I was very impressed at the amount of personal service I have gotten. Each week he asks me to check in with how things are going. If an exercise was too easy or too hard to do, I would let Matt know and very quickly he would change it to something else. He is always quick to help out with how many reps to do, or if I should be increasing the weight. Whenever I want my lifting routine changed up, Matt will get that done very quickly. For the money changing shape is by far the best value on the internet. For the price I was expecting to get very little personal service and Matt has far exceeded my expectations. -- Ron Meyer
I had been trying to lost weight for a very long time. In December of 2010 when I went for routine check up my doctor lectured me again about losing weight. At that moment I finally realized that if I was going to lose any weight I needed to get some help to do. This was not going to be easy. I didn't have the time or money to go a gym or hire a personal trainer.
It crossed my mind to look into an online personal trainer. I researched several online websites for weight loss and personal trainers. I came across changing shape After all my research I keep coming back to their website. If seemed to be just what I was looking for. It had the support and guidance I was looking for. Also the cost was certainly not going to be an issue. Anyone would be able to afford it.
In December of 2010 I joined. I set a goal to lost 20 pounds. My trainer worked out a routine for me that was realistic for me and that I could easily fit into my schedule. This was great. I didn't have to rearrange my entire day to for any exercise program.
In March of 2011 I went back to my doctor. He was pleased to see that I had lost about 10 pounds.
It is now May and I have lost 12 pounds and I owe it all to my personal trainer who has been totally fantastic and has been there for me every step of the way.
I am certainly not far away from meeting my goal of losing 20 pounds thanks to Changing Shape.
