Assisted seated chest stretch (active isolated)

STRETCH

Preparation:

  1. Sit on a bench or chair.
  2. Be certain the core is engaged.
  3. Place your hands as pictured, maintaining neutral spine.
  4. Partner should place their hands on your elbows as pictured.

 

How to Do:

  1. Drive the elbows back as far as you can, and then have your partner gently assist a few degrees further.
  2. Hold for 1-2 seconds, relax, and repeat for 10 reps.
