Supine hamstring stretch (assisted, active isolated)

STRETCH

Preparation:

  1. Lie down on your back facing up.

 

How to Do:

  1. Partner should place one hand behind your ankle and one hand over the top of your knee.
  2. Lift leg until stretch is felt or you see compensation.
  3. It is helpful to stabilize opposite leg so it does not externally rotate, and pelvis does not shift.
