Medicine ball lateral step reach overhead

STRENGTH

Preparation:

Stand tall and prepare to step sideways holding the medicine ball in your hands.

 

How to Do:

  1. Step sideways, reaching the medicine ball towards the knee.
  2. Allow the trunk to flex & rotate to the side.
  3. Return to the start position and then alternate sides.
  4. Try to prevent "anchoring" the foot from lifting or sliding.
