Assisted levator scapulae stretch seated (active isolated)

STRETCH

Preparation:

Position yourself and your partner and as pictured.

 

How to Do:

  1. Partner should instruct you to go into cervical (neck) location and flex to the side (i.e. look down and away).
  2. Once you have actively moved as far as possible, partner should gently assist a few degrees further.
  3. Hold for 1 to 2 seconds, and then repeat for 10 reps.
