Assisted seated upper trapezius stretch (contract-relax)
Position yourself and your partner and pictured.
How to Do:
- Partner should gently flex your neck to the side until first resistance barrier is felt, hold for 20-30 seconds.
- Next, partner should instruct you to gently push into partner’s hand, hold for 5-7.
- Hold at first resistance barrier for 20 to 30 seconds, and then statically contract by seven seconds.
- Relax and tired range of motion.
- Repeat 2 to 3 reps.
