Kettlebell woodchop with lateral leap

STRENGTH

Preparation:

Stand with feet together and the kettlebell in the "rack" position, bent arm resting against the trunk and the palm towards the midline to create a triangle. The second side hand is clasped over the other.

 

How to Do:

  1. Keeping the feet parallel, leap sideways with the leg that is opposite to the kettlebell.
  2. Move the upper body in a chopping motion to swing kettlebell outside of the landing knee.
  3. Maintain an inward curve while absorbing the bell.
  4. Drive towards the floor and return to start position.
