How to Do Stability Ball Bicep Curl
Core strength allows you to perform the exercise while remaining balanced on the stability ball.
Each stability ball bicep curl should begin with good posture to avoid injury. Brace the spine by drawing your lower abdomen inward. Your core muscles should be activated to support your posture as you perform the exercise.
If any pain is experienced, immediately stop this stability ball bicep curl.
Beginning Bicep Curls on a Stability Ball
Sit on the stability ball with feet flat on the ground and at shoulder width.
Tighten the ab muscles and glutes.
Sit in a straight position. Do not lean backward or forward. If your back, isn't straight then you aren't practicing proper form and will not receive the full benefits of this exercise.
Hold a dumbbell in each hand in a lowered position at your sides.

1. Raise both arms to lift the dumbbells into a bicep curl.
2. Slowly return the dumbbells to their starting position and repeat the movement until you have completed your set.
3. Make sure that you don't swing your elbows outward.
