How to Do Hip Abductors Machine

The machine for hip abduction should begin with good posture to avoid injury. Brace the spine by drawing your lower abdomen inward. Your core muscles should be activated to support your posture as you perform the exercise.

If any pain is experienced, immediately stop the hip abductors machine.

Set up with your back against the pad and your spine in a neutral position.

Movement

1. Exhale and open the pads by pushing the legs apart.

2. Slowly return to the starting posture after your hips are fully externally rotated.
