How to Do Swiss Ball Twist when seated With Dowel

The swiss ball twist when seated with a dowel should begin with good posture to avoid injury. Brace the spine by drawing your lower abdomen inward. Your core muscles should be activated to support your posture as you perform the exercise.

If any pain is experienced, immediately stop the swiss ball twist when seated with a dowel.

Sit back-to-back with your partner, holding a ball in one hand and your legs bent. As one of you transfers the ball to the other, you'll both spin to one side. Rotate the ball in the opposite way and pass it to the other player.

1. Start off by sitting on a stability ball with a dowel rested on your neck. Your arms will hold onto the ends of it to also support it.

2. Twist with your hips as far as you can in one direction.

3. Return to the starting position and then rotate the opposite direction.
