How to Do Assisted Prone Quad Stretch Contract-relax
The partner should flex your knee to the first resistance barrier, hold for 20-30 seconds.
Beginning
Beginning Assisted Prone Quad Stretch
1. The partner should have you lie as pictured.
2. Partner places one hand in a comfortable spot on your hip area and the other hand on your ankle.
Movement
Assisted Prone Quad Stretch Movement
1. The partner should flex your knee to the first resistance barrier, hold for 20-30 seconds.
2. The partner should instruct you to flex your thigh, hold here for 5-7 seconds.
3. Hold at first resistance barrier for 20 to 30 seconds, and then statically contract for 5 to 7 seconds.
4. Repeat 2 to 3 reps.
