How to Do Assisted Prone Quad Stretch Static

Partner should gently flex your knee to the first resistance barrier while keeping the hand firmly pressed into the hip area to prevent the butt from popping up (hip flexion).

Hold for 20-30 seconds, repeat 3-4reps.


Beginning Assisted Prone Quad Stretch

1. Partner should have you lie as pictured while he/she places one hand on your ankle and their other hand on your hip area.

2. Note. This may be contraindicated for those with low back pain.


Assisted Prone Quad Stretch Movement

1. While standing, hold onto a countertop or chair back to assist in balance.

2. Bend your knee back.
