How to Do Assisted Quadratus Lumborum Stretch Seated Contract-relax
Hold at the first resistance barrier for 20 to 30 seconds, and then statically contract like seven seconds.

1. Position yourself and your trainer as pictured.
Movement
Assisted Quadratus Lumborum Stretch Seated Movement
1. Partner should gently flex you to the side, stopping at the first resistance barrier and hold for 20-30 seconds.
2. Next, the partner should then instruct you to slightly contract the stretching muscles, hold for 5-7 seconds.
3. Relax and move into a newly acquired range of motion.
4. Repeat for 2 to 3 reps.
