How to Do Assisted Levator Scapulae Stretch Seated Contract-relax
Hold at first resistance barrier for 20 to 30 seconds, and then statically contract for 5 to 7 seconds.

Position yourself and your partner as pictured.
Movement
Assisted Levator Scapulae Stretch Seated Movement
1. Flex to the side and rotate the head AWAY from the side to be stretched until the first resistance barrier is felt, hold for 20-30 seconds.
2. Next, your partner should gently instruct you to make a contraction as if returning to neutral.
3. Relax and move into a newly acquired range of motion.
4. Repeat for 2 to 3 rep.
