How to Do Bicep Curl With V-sit on Bosu
The bicep curls with v-sit on the Bosu should begin with good posture to avoid injury. Brace the spine by drawing your lower abdomen inward. Your core muscles should be activated to support your posture as you perform the exercise.
If any pain is experienced, immediately stop the Bosu bicep curls with v-sit.
Beginning
Beginning Bicep Curls With Bosu
Balance yourself by stepping on Bosu.
Stand tall with your head held high and your legs straight.
Begin by holding the dumbbells at arm's length, palms facing out.
Movement
Bicep Curls With Bosu Movement
1. Hold a dumbbell in each hand, and sit on the Bosu ball with your hips centered on the dome. Your knees will be bent at about 90 degrees, with your toes touching the ground. Sit up straight with your head and shoulders aligned with your hips.
2. Tighten up your core muscles, then lean back and lift your feet off the ground. Your arms will be in a straight line from shoulders to the ground with your palms facing forward.
3. When you are comfortable and balanced, pull your shoulders back and down and begin bending your elbows to curl the dumbbells up to shoulder height. Simultaneously, you should be rotating your forearms so that your palms face your shoulders at the height of the movement. Make sure that your upper arms remain tight and next to the torso throughout the exercise.
4. Lower the dumbbells by straightening the elbows and return to the position that you started from. Repeat exercise for the desired or recommended number of reps.
5. Make sure that your body remains aligned during the exercise. Don't arch your back during the lift, or as your core muscles get fatigued from holding the V-sit position.
