How to Do Static Kneeling Pectoral Stretch
The static kneeling pectoral stretch should begin with good posture to avoid injury. Brace the spine by drawing your lower abdomen inward. Your core muscles should be activated to support your posture as you perform the exercise.
If any pain is experienced, immediately stop the static kneeling pectoral stretch.

Beginning Kneeling Pectoral Stretch
1. Lie down on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
2. Keep one foot flat on the floor while bringing one knee to your chest (or the other leg straight, whichever feels better on your lower back).
3. Maintain a firm grip on the floor with your lower back.
4. For at least 15 to 30 seconds, hold the position.
Movement

1. Lie down on your back, knees bent.
2. Bring one knee into your palms and gradually draw it toward your chest with your arms.
3. Hold for a moment before lowering your bent leg.
4. Relax before repeating with the opposite leg.
