How to Do Rope Climb Wrapping

The rope climb wrapping should begin with good posture to avoid injury. Brace the spine by drawing your lower abdomen inward. Your core muscles should be activated to support your posture as you perform the exercise.

If any pain is experienced, immediately stop the rope climb wrapping.

Beginning

Beginning Rope Climb

Wrap the rope around your dominant foot and clamp it between your two feet, then stand up and walk your hands up the rope.

Movement

1. Take hold of the rope.

2. Knees should be as near to the chest as feasible.

3. Maintain the rope in the center of your body.

4. Rope wraps around the leg and over the foot of the dominant leg.

5. Step on the rope with the free foot, pinching the rope between the feet.

6. Pull them above with your arms while stretching your hips and knees (standing up).

7. To lift the legs up, release the wrapped rope from the feet and repeat.
