How to Do In and Out Push-up With Box
The in and out clap push-ups with the box should begin with good posture to avoid injury. Brace the spine by drawing your lower abdomen inward. Your core muscles should be activated to support your posture as you perform the exercise.
If any pain is experienced, immediately stop the in and out clap push-ups with the box.
Beginning Box Push Ups with In and Out Claps
Maintain a straight line from your head to your toes as you lower your body towards the box. Slowly bend your arms, lowering your elbows into the sides of your body. Your chest should just brush up against the box. As you return to the starting position, push yourself away from the box.
Box Push Ups with In and Out Claps Movement
1. Begin by coming into a pushup position with your feet flat on the ground. Your legs will be straight behind you with your toes on the ground.
2. Place a small box in front of your head so that it is perpendicular to your body.
3. Perform a push-up by bending at the elbow. When you are rising from the base of the pushup, explode up and push with your hands to perform a clap while in mid air before ending with your palms on the box.
4. From the box, perform a push-up by bending at the elbow and when you are rising from the base of the push up, explode and push your hands from the box, back down to the ground. While you are in mid air, you are going to perform a clap with your hands.
5. Repeat for repetitions.
Box Push Ups with In and Out Claps Benefits
The clap push-up improves core stability, which is important for maintaining a firm stance in the boxing ring. It also improves upper-body strength, shoulder mobility, and quick reflexes. You're well aware of how plyometrics, or jump training, can help you enhance your lower-body strength.
